Spectacularly beautiful vintage European linen/hemp sacking to use as upholstery, chair covers, cushions,blinds, etc. Price is per metre. Width approx 50-55cm. All hand-woven, so each unique. Stripes reflect the individual farmers distinctive pattern, often enhanced by his initial. Plain linen also available. Vintage French Monogrammed Sheets
Beautifully monogrammed sheets dating from late 1800's to mid 1900's. Origin: South of France. Usually a métis (linen union), for the best combination of durabilty and softness. We LOVE these for use as sheets, curtains, quilt covers, or our favourite lazy thing, just as a bed cover over a duvet. Instantly perfectly made bed, with French savoir-vivre! Sizes vary as these were hand loomed, and sometimes required a centre seam. Price applies to sheets of 180cm or wider. If narrower, price is only $125.

Vintage Hungarian Embroidered Hand Towels
Stunning and unique hand embroidered linen handtowels with borders front and back, and most with monogrammes. These are very special! The work is beautiful, and although they date from late 1800's to early 1900's, their condition and durability is fabulous. Obviously hand-made, so sizes and colours vary, but reds and blues do predominate (some pinks and greens). Approx 48cm W x 80-90 cm L
